The Russian Bulletin of Hygiene is a peer-reviewed academic journal of the Eastern European Cluster for Medical Research and Education of the Central Federal District.

Found in 2021, the journal is published four times a year by Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University. The main focus of the journal is on medical and prevention sciences.

The journal accepts original research articles, literature reviews, lectures, and discussions papers that have not been previously published, in whole or in part, in Russian or any other language, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The journal publishes articles on the following subjects:

• Environmental health
• Occupational health
• Child and adolescent health
• Radiation hygiene
• Nutrition
• Hygiene and sanitation standards, prevention medicine
• Methods of health studies
• Public health surveillance
• Sports health
• Health education and promotion

The journal is translated into English. The English version entitled the Russian Bulletin of Hygiene is identical to the Russian version.

The journal is published online. After the manuscript has gone through all stages of the publishing process, it is posted on the website of the Russian Bulletin of Hygiene and assigned a DOI number. No changes can be made to the published manuscript. Once every three months, online publications are compiled into an issue. Each publication included in the issue receives a page number and retains its DOI. Before the issue is compiled, each article can be downloaded or printed from the website as a .pdf file; citation information will be included in the file.
